Chelsea & I attended a CHA Equine Facility Management Certification Clinic in Ohio the end of Oct!
There seems to be some controvery out there regarding certification...is it useful, valuable, believeable? For me it is all of these. Being certified gives me the confirmation that I do know a great deal and I enjoy sharing my knowledge. And that there are areas that I do need to research and learn more about. Being certified also means continuing education. ( at least for CHA certification requirements) Every three years, members must show proof of 25 hours of continuing ed. I always continue to learn new things-every week it seems! I also hope that it gives those who do ask advice from me the assurance that they are talking with a knowledgable, professional equestrian. Knowing what I do, it gives me the drive to strive and create a safe environment for horses and riders.

This is a great edition to the 101 Excercises Books series. A fellow CHA instructor, Debbie Sams wrote the book and I helped her edit. Click on the Link below to order.
